POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Behavioral Health Outpatient Operations provides essential leadership in managing overall operations of outpatient services. This role involves supervising the front desk, behavioral health and admissions staff, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to program standards. This role oversees the coordination of referrals and admissions to substance use, requiring effective management and organization.
The Director of Behavioral Health Outpatient Operations contributes to the development and refinement of program data collection and outcome evaluation, ensuring that all processes align with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborating with the program leadership team, they work to enhance internal control structures and implement improvement strategies that support program effectiveness.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENT(S)
Program
Responsible for other duties as assigned, due to expansion, modification, or reduction of agency services or catchment area.
POSITIONS QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Health or Human Services field required, advanced degree preferred.
Experience: A minimum of five years of program administration experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience and working knowledge of clients with mental health and/or substance abuse issues, clinical operations, customer service and licensing and accreditation compliance.
Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Other Requirements: Must pass all applicable background checks.
